Established in 2000 by Mark & Joanne Kozned, the Philosophy at Nova Vita is to make outstanding examples of cool climate wines with an emphasis on sustainable practices in both the vineyard and winery.

While living and working in New York in 1999, they decided to move back to their hometown of Adelaide and start a new life. Nova Vita means ‘New Life’ in Latin.

The cool days and cooler nights in the northern end of the Adelaide Hills offer extended ripening conditions into Autumn, and allow for a greater opportunity for minimal input viticulture. Nova Vita encourage applying biodynamic practices on vineyard blocks.

All wines are estate grown, vegan friendly and have minimal sulphites.
